Join us this Family Day, Monday, Feb. 21, for a special author reading with Algonquin author S.P. Joseph Lyons, from Kitigan Zibi First Nation, author of Little Bear in Foster Care. Lyons writes from his own experiences as he was placed in foster care as a young child and is a survivor of the Sixties Scoop. Foster care can be scary and lonely, but the Little Bear in Foster Care book makes it a little less frightening. Starting at 10 a.m, Lyons will read from his book, followed by a discussion with the author.
