Kick off Earth Week by joining us for the third annual Seedy Saturday at the Exeter Branch.

Bring along some seeds for the seed swap table, pick up some starter plants, make some seed bombs with Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority, visit with local horticultural societies, and check out one of these special presentations:

  • 10:30am – Honeybees in Ontario with Ferguson Apiaries
Ferguson Apiaries have been raising bees in Ontario for nearly 60 years and will be sharing their first hand experience as beekeepers and knowledge of honeybees in our province.
  • 12:00pm – Gardener Social.
A mid-day break between presentations to network with other gardeners and seed enthusiasts. Refreshments provided.
  • 1:00pm – Building a Backyard Ecosystem with Krystal Brideau.
Krystal is a 2023 Rural Institute of Ontario Rural Change Maker with a passion for making backyards into native pollinator paradises through the use of native plants.
  • All day: seed swap table, seed bombs with ABCA, children’s activities, door prizes, community clean up

This is a drop-in program no registration is necessary.
