March Break at the Library – Multiple Branches

Join us all week long for the following activities happening at the Huron County Library:
Bayfield: Book Bingo, 1-2 p.m. – Get ready to shout BINGO during this fun, book-themed game for kids! Win a round and choose a prize from our exciting selection of books to take home and enjoy! Blyth: Let’s Learn with Hamilton: Ancient Civilizations, 3-4 p.m. – Join Branch Assistant Hamilton who will present ‘Ancient Civilizations’, an opportunity for attendees to learn all about the history of the ancient world. Ages: All welcome! Registration not required.
Exeter: ABCA What’s the Buzz, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. – Join the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority for quality nature programming! Pollinators are responsible for helping plants grow and keeping our food supply strong, but yet many are at risk of extinction. Explore the incredible ways these tiny creatures support our world and how we can better support them. Ages: 6-12 and their families, but all are welcome! Goderich: Creative Kids: LEGO Speed Builders, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. – Rev up your building skills in the fast-paced LEGO challenge! Kids will compete to see who can assemble a LEGO car kit the fastest, then race their creations to the finish line. Fun, friendly competition for all skill levels! Ages: 6-12. Hensall: Melted Crayon Suncatcher, 4-5 p.m. – Create a colourful window decoration by melting crayon shavings between two sheets of wax paper, creating a translucent art piece you can cut into shapes to hang and catch the light. Ages: 6-12. Children under 8 must be accompanied.
Seaforth: ABCA Down in the Dirt, 2-3:30 p.m. – Join the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority for quality nature programming! Beneath our feet is an entire world of life that keeps our planet healthy! From earthworms to fungi, tiny decomposers help recycle nutrients and create the soil we need to grow food and forests.
