Join the Friends of Bayfield Library on Feb. 26 for a virtual presentation from Bonnie Sitter about her latest book, On the Wright Track: Memories from C.P.R. School Car #2. This book tells the story of Ontario’s school railcar program through the recollections of four members of the Wright family. Their father, Bill Wright, taught in the railcar that travelled between Chapleau and White River, ON. The book details the challenges and rewards of living and teaching under such unique circumstances.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Bonnie Sitter lives in Exeter and is a retired travel agent who went on to study photography and then began publishing her own books. She is the author of Onions and Peach Fuzz: Memories of Ontario Farmerettes, which is now being developed into a play for the Blyth Festival.
